Here, Alex works a job he hates by day so he can live his rockstar dream by night. “Desperate Cowboy” blurs the line between reality and ’70s rockstar pipe dreams — until it’s over, and it’s back to the grind. Visually, we brought the rockstar excess to life through decadent styling and lighting, using a red, blue, black, white, and silver color palette. We used a combination of voyeuristic and handheld shots to create a feeling of kinetic surrealism — inviting the viewer to question whether it was all a dream.
